This dinner plate is made using slip casting in a multi part mold system. The material used for casting is a porcelain slip, mixed with ceramic pigments and black grog to create a distinctive, stone-like surface.
The dinner plate is almost entirely coated in a semi-transparent green glaze, leaving the foot unglazed to reveal the natural beauty of the black grog porcelain. The plate is kiln fired at 1240°C, ensuring durability and functionality for everyday use. This product is both dishwasher and microwave safe, ensuring practicality.
